WARRANTY INFORMATION

Designerie offers a limited 2-year warranty except where noted. If a Designerie product is found to be defective in that time period and reported with the requested supporting photos/media, Designerie will, at its sole discretion, instruct repairs, refund or replace the product.

The first year of warranty will cover parts and labor upon approval, the second year will cover parts. To submit a claim, a written notice must be sent to info@designerie.com during the warranty period and within fourteen (14) days of discovering the defect. Trade + Contract customers should send their inquiries to hospitality@designerie.com.

This warranty is valid only for the original purchasers who bought the product directly from Designerie. Any misuse, abuse, or alteration of the product voids the warranty. The warranty period starts on the date of receiving the product.

  • Designerie reserves the right to make minor changes to this warranty at any time and without notice.

  • The warranty is void if the product is modified or altered in any way.

  • The warranty is void if any aftermarket protective treatments are applied to the product after the original factory packing has been opened. Re-upholstering the product frames voids all warranties due to the possibility that the internal structure could be compromised during the recovering process.

  • Natural variations in color, texture, physical distressing and other inherent features of manufactured wood furniture, as well as components characteristics, are not considered defects.

  • Because of the natural materials used in the manufacturing process, and that the products are generally handmade, minor variations will occur from piece to piece. These are not considered defects under the warranty.

  • Sunlight will cause wood, finishing materials, and fabrics to change color – these changes are not considered defects under the warranty.

  • Extremes in temperature and humidity can cause both wood and finishing materials to shrink, swell, warp, split, and glue seams to fail. These conditions are not considered defects under this warranty.

  • This warranty does not cover floor samples or other products designated “as is”, “close outs”, or “final sale” at time of purchase.

  • General wear and tear, mold, or natural fading of the materials used.

  • Damage caused by acts of nature.

  • Damage caused from reckless care.
