Rattan is one of the most sustainable materials available for furniture manufacturing. It is hand harvested, rattan furniture is hand made, and the fact that rattan is solid makes our woven furniture very durable, and able to last for generations. Rattan is remarkably durable and resistant to heat, cold, moisture and temperature fluctuations. Rattan comes in 600 different species of which 40 are suitable for furniture. Our rattan furniture only uses the 2 best qualities called Tohiti and Manau.
